Northumberland Hospital Radio (NHR) is a volunteer-run hospital radio service serving patients and staff across Northumberland and North Tyneside. Broadcasting 24 hours a day, the station combines easy-listening music with health and wellbeing information, local updates and presenter-led programmes. NHR is available in hospitals across the Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust and can also be heard online, providing entertainment and companionship to its audience.
